Our History Guides our Mission
Founded in 2010 by a small group of retired Aviation Survival Technicians/Helicopter Rescue Swimmers, the Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmer Association, or 'Silver Fins' are proud to serve the active and retired USCG aircrew community with programs that range from college and trade school scholarships for their children, referrals with travel costs to attend programs that help the individual member cope with life stresses that are complicated by service-related experience, and benevolent contributions to families in need.

Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs, services, and events to assist USCG aircrew veterans and their families.
Benevolent assistance, college and technical school training scholarships for children and dependents, and stress-related / PTSD recovery retreats, we are here to support our members.
